Michael Cirrito

I'm Michael Cirrito: executive manager, entrepreneur, father, outdoor enthusiast, and live music fanatic!

A brief history as told in the third person: Michael Cirrito was born in New York and raised in Washington DC.  He survived 12 years of Catholic school including four amazing years at Gonzaga College High School.  Seeking warm weather, football and the allure of dating a girl with a southern accent, Michael egressed south and spent four years at Clemson University (Go Tigers)!Four years at Clemson endowed Michael with a cursory understanding of contemporary American history, twentieth century continental philosophy, and an insatiable passion for live music. Armed with just enough collegiate knowledge to be dangerous, Michael Cirrito headed west for a nine year stretch in California.  While out on the left side of the country, Michael Cirrito toiled in the trenches of the live music business working for Bill Graham Presents and helping to start and run wwww.JamBase.com.  Five years with JamBase and the arrival of two sons left Michael with a somewhat satiated appetite for entrepreneurship and a desire to go back to school. In 2006, Michael, his two sons and his wife Holly (who happens to have a southern accent) headed back east.  Michael Cirrito spent two years in business school at Georgetown University, and settled down in DC where he lives today. There are 168 hours in a week and Michael Cirrito spends about 60 of them in his job as Director of Classified Marketplaces at The Washington Post.  He clocks in about 50 hours of sleep, 7 hours of exercise and spends the remainder of those precious waking hours with his wife, three sons, and friends.
